A survey from Finnish geology centre are going to prepare a study for possible future routes for a rail tunnel to connect Helsinki and Tallinn, writes Eesti Päevaleht.
Calculations show a cost of between 2 and 3 billion euros. In Estonia a geology centre has already made a study about the route selection as a part of the big Rail Baltica project establishing a high speed train route from Helsinki to Berlin.
