Latvian soldiers are still finding and destroying bombs and other explosive objects all over in Latvia. In the first five months of 2013, soldiers of the National Guard’s Undetonated Munitions Disposal Company of the 54th Civil Engineering Battalion have neutralized 1 103 units.
392 emergencies have occured during this period and compared with spring and summer months of 2012, specialists received a little more calls ad neutralized 2 091 explosive objects.
