As the last country in EU Lithuania yesterday legalized industral hemp/cannabis - both growing, processing, importing and exporting. 66 voted for lifting the ban in the parliament - 16 voted against - and 22 abstained.The law defines industrial hemp as the Cannabis type, which contain no more than 0.2 percent of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). If President Dalia Grybauskaitė signs the amendments into law, it will come into force on January 1.
