Energy production from renewable resources is becoming more and more popular in Estonia and Europe, LETA/Vorumaa Teataja reported.
Small electricity manufacturing enables the customer to fix the electricity price and, in a longer perspective, save on household expenses. In addition, it reduces the ecological footprint.
More dispersed electricity manufacturing and usage of renewable energy resources helps to improve Estonian energy security. It also reduces CO2 emissions that help to earn more money from CO2 quota sales; all these goals are mentioned in the new Estonian coalition agreement.
