Estonian company lights up St Petersburg’s Christmas tree

st peterburg christmas treeEstonian company Adam Decolight won the right to adorn the official Christmas tree of the city of St Petersburg, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht writes.

“Our solution has over 30,000 little lamp lights, in addition to that, decorations in Russian style that resemble crystals, compiled of more than 3,000 baubles,” the company’s CEO Ivari Roosileht said. “The solution was completed as the result of work of a big team in a month,” he said. “We consider the solution very Slavic in style, but St Petersburg values it because it considers it European in style.”

The 25-metres tall artificial tree is already erected in front of the Winter Palace and Adam Decolight’s Russian company starts decorating it tomorrow.

Roosileht doesn’t reveal the price of the work but states that decorating the official Christmas tree of St Petersburg helps the company’s business in Russia.
