NATO planning cyber training facility in Estonia

Estonia’s defence chief Maj. Gen. Riho Terras met today in Norfolk, USA with Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Gen. Jean-Paul Palomeros who briefed him about the establishment of a NATO cyber defence training range in Estonia.

Estonia last year put to the alliance the proposal to utilize the cyber lab of the defence forces s cyber defence training range.

The Tallinn-based facility could be used by NATO as a whole and all member states separately for conducting cyber defence exercises and for military training of their units.
