As of today Airline SAS allows mobile phones and tablets to be used on board at takeoff and landing.
European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recently announced that electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets and digital music players may use on board as long as the equipment is put into “Airplane Mode”.
SAS is adapting to the new EU rules and allows as of today electronic devices even during takeoff and landing. However, it’s still not allowed to use a laptop during takeoff and landing, the newspaper Flygtorget.
