Latvia in front when it comes to competing on robots for games. This time in the world’s largest open robot competition “Robogames” in San Mateo, California, informed Baltic Course, the Latvian Institute.
Latvian robot makers took part in three events and topped them all – Mega Sumo, Mini Sumo and Line Following.
“RoboGames” invites the best minds from around the world to compete in over 50 different events. Combat robots, walking humanoids, soccer bots, sumo bots, and even androids that do kung-fu.
Earlier in March three Latvian-made robots triumphed in the European robotics championship’s prestigious Robot Sumo challenge, claiming the three top spots.
